By a massive and fortunate coincidence, I'll be in the east of Iceland at the exact time this once-in-a-decade experience occurs! And, if you've read my previous blog entry, you'll know that I'll be there complete with all my camera gear :) It is even being so nice as to not occur at a ridiculous time in the morning. I'll either be going for a close-up shot with my 300mm lens to capture the detail as best I can, or do a time lapse sequence of the scene around me and how the light changes - or both! From memory of another total solar eclipse a long time ago, viewed in London, the daylight didn't seem to dim too much, though. I hope it will this time...
